A «knock-on» is committed when a player knocks the ball forward — and play is restarted with a scrum. Positions and teams
Rugby union is played between two teams – the one that scores more points wins the game. They also feed the scrum and sometimes have to act as a fourth loose forward. They receive the ball from the lineout and remove the ball from the back of the scrum, usually passing it to the fly-half.
